COURSE TITLE: “Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Operator – Introductory Level”
COURSE CONTENT: Participants will become familiar with the code of practice for the safe and efficient operation of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV), relevant environment issues, types of specific operations that can be conducted with this equipment, and also about the categories of personnel involved and their responsibilities. Throughout the course, participants will be able to apply the knowledge in practical exercises conducted on the WMAX – Perry Slingsby ROV simulator.
COURSE OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to demonstrate basic knowledge about the applicability of ROVs, and also about their operation and piloting, maintenance and certification of this equipment.
COURSE DURATION: 25 working days.
TARGET PERSONNEL: Offshore personnel looking to acquire ROV operation knowledge and skills.
PREREQUISITES: “High Voltage Safety and Management” Course.
CERTIFICATE: GSP Training Certificate, valid 2 years.
Important : GSP does not provide offshore internship upon completion of this course.
