COURSE CONTENT: Delegates holding a valid “Offshore Crane Operator Stage 2” certificate from a recognized training provider in the industry can attend 1-day practical assessment for re-certification. Candidates need to demonstrate that they master the operating techniques to contribute to integrated safe systems of work, carry out pre-start checks and inspections, lift transfer and position loads, and respond to hand signals and radio instructions.
COURSE OBJECTIVES: On completion of Stage 2 Re-certification the candidate can undertake supply vessel operations under the supervision of a competent crane operator prior to being assessed at Stage 3.
CERTIFICATE: Sparrows Certificate, valid for 2 years.
