Mitrut Caraivan took part in the beginning of GSP Training Center between 2009-2010 in the simulators start-up commissioning and IWCF accreditation process. He was appointed Training Manager in 2015. He is an Automatic Control Engineer with previous experience on offshore oil and gas rigs and has worked also for PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Romania. He has been teaching as Associate Assistant in "Ovidius" University of Constanta, Faculty of Physics, Electronics, Chemistry and Petroleum Technologies and since January 2014 as lecturer in The Faculty of Applied Sciences and Engineering.
Mr. Caraivan holds a B.Sc. diploma from Automatic Control and Computers Faculty in Bucharest, he has developed his Master Thesis at Facultät fur Ingenieurwissenschaften in Duisburg-Essen, Germany and has a PhD in Systems Engineering from Politehnica University of Bucharest.
Angela started working for GSP Training Center in March 2009, as an English language teacher and assessor.
Angela has extensive experience in evaluating and training company personnel, translating specialized documents, interpreting, developing tests and evaluation descriptors with national and international certification.
From August 2013 she is Curriculum Coordinator and is responsible for the training process and the accreditation of GSP Training Center courses. She has experience in customer relationship management, sales and contracts.
In 2002, she graduated the Faculty of Languages and Theology, specialization Romanian-English, within “Ovidius” University in Constanta. Between 2002 and 2009 she worked in the Naval Academy “Mircea cel Batran”, Constanta, as an English language teacher and assessor.
From 2012 she is an accredited MARLINS Test of Spoken English (TOSE) evaluator.
Horst joined GSP Training Center team in 2011. Prior to this, he worked as a mentor in computer science in the research center at the Open University of Koln Hagen / FernUni Hagen (1995-1996). Between 1996 - 2001 he worked for Call Motion AG Hilden in the elaboration of product specifications and development of Tandem NSK and Windows NT projects within broader projects for the development of IT applications and ACD applications for call centers use. Subsequently, Horst worked for T-Systems Germany, where he was involved in a project for the development and maintenance of components of a data storage directory (2001-2011). Horst is a graduate of Fernuniversität, Hagen, holding a degree in computer science engineering.
Mihaela started to work for GSP Training Center in November 2011 as Administrative Clerk and Document Controller.
In 2004 she graduated the College of Office Technology from “Ovidius” University, Constanta. Between 2007-2011 she worked as Executive Secretary with the Order of Architects from Romania – Dobrogea Subsidiary. She has experience in management of administrative activities and public relations. She is responsible for evaluation of and relation with the suppliers, primary accounting, SAP processes and records.
Cristian joined GSP Training Center in 2009 for accreditation as IWCF Assessor-Trainer and obtained the accreditation in 2010.
Prior to joining our team, Cristian has accumulated over 25 years experience in the oil field, going through all the functions onboard a drilling rig, from Roughneck to Tool Pusher in different areas of operation: Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Persian Gulf, North Sea.
He graduated from the Faculty of Physics, Chemistry and Petroleum Technology, specialty Chemistry, “Ovidius” University of Constanta.
Cristian holds an ANC accredited Trainer Certificate and has extensive experience in classroom management and management of interpersonal relationships.
Atena started to work at the GSP training Center in April 2018, as a training consultant.
In 2017 she graduated from the Faculty of Engineering and Management Naval and Port, from the “Mircea cel Batran” Naval Academy in Constanta.
In 2015 she worked as sales representative by acquiring experience in communication, customer relationship, sales and skills in organizing time according to priorities, multitasking, advising customers to choose the right products or services.
She is responsible for taking over the customer training requests, provides logistical and material support for the smooth conduct of the training, evaluates and reports to suppliers, SAP records, primary accounting.
Livia became a Member of the GSP training team in 2019, holding the position of training Coordinator. In 2018 she graduated from “Ovidius” University, specialized American studies. She holds a master's degree in project Management, a specialty from the Academy of Economic studies in Bucharest.
Between 2015 – 2018, Livia worked as Assistant Manager at the Romanian Commodity Exchange Constanta. She has experience in managing activities involving working with the public.
She is responsible for working with internal and external staff and monitoring the quality of the training, as well as the relationship with the training providers.

Constantin is at the fire brigade's base, graduating from the Faculty of fire brigades in 2004. After a career start "under arms", he became a university assistant, teaching associated fire safety disciplines. Starting with 2013, he has been working with GSP training being accredited by IADC and DROPS for courses from the workplace safety level. Constantin is proud of a practical experience of safety officer/manager in industries such as offshore and onshore oil and gas drilling, wind turbines, engineering systems being passionate about everything related to training, HSEQ and genuine communication.
Jean joined the GSP training Center team in 2015, as the trainer for the modules for Confined space training, basic H2S training and authorized gas Tester.
In 2005 he graduated from the Faculty of mathematics and Informatics, from the University of “Ovidius” Constanta.
Since 2006 he has been working as representative of the German company Drager - Safety Division, specialized in maritime applications. In over 15 years of experience in the field of “Marine Safety”, Jean has graduated the technician service courses of the Drager Academy of Lublin for: Gas detectors, respiratory protection equipment, chemical protection equipment, as well as for the modules “converted space entry and work training” and “H2S training”. Jean also has an ACN accredited trainer certificate.
